300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Costa Rica

300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Costa Rica

There's a particular kind of quiet that only happens in the Costa Rican jungle just before sunrise — howler monkeys still asleep, toucans shifting in the canopy, the air already warm. If you've ever pictured yourself practicing yoga in that kind of quiet, our 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica was built for you.

This isn't a vacation with a side of yoga. It's a serious, accredited advanced training for teachers who already hold a 200-hour certification and want to deepen their craft — anatomy, sequencing, philosophy, hands-on assists, and the kind of embodied confidence that only comes from weeks of daily practice in community.

Here is what's actually inside the training.

A curriculum shaped by real teaching, not just theory. Expect daily asana, pranayama, and meditation, plus deep dives into functional anatomy, the subtle body, the Yoga Sutras, and modern sequencing for a range of bodies. Mornings are practice. Afternoons are study. Evenings are for integration — satsang, journaling, rest.

Lead teachers who still teach weekly classes. Our faculty isn't a roster of names on a brochure. The lead trainers run public classes year-round in Colorado Springs, so the cueing, sequencing, and adjustments you'll learn are the same ones they refine every week on the mat with real students. You learn how they think, not just what they know.

A setting that does half the work for you. Training takes place at our partner retreat center tucked into the Costa Rican jungle near the Pacific coast. Open-air shalas, ocean breezes, three nourishing vegetarian meals a day, and pool time when your body asks for it. Everything is included — housing, meals, tuition, and your manual. You book the flight; we handle the rest.

Small cohorts, real community. We cap each training at a deliberately small number so that every student gets personalized feedback on assists, sequencing, and teaching demos. Past graduates often say the cohort itself was the most unexpected gift — friendships that outlast the trip.

A clear path to registration. The 300-hour is registered with Yoga Alliance, and our 200-hour is a prerequisite. If you've been circling this training for a season or two, the next Costa Rica cohort tends to fill about four months out.

If you're ready to take your teaching — and your own practice — to the next level in a setting that genuinely supports both, we'd love to hear from you. Visit our 300-Hour training page to review the dates, curriculum, and what's included, then send us a quick note about where you teach now and what you're hoping to grow into. We'll get back to you within a day with next steps, payment plans, and answers to whatever's still on your mind. See you in the shala.
